This Privacy Policy (hereunder “Privacy Policy”) is applicable to all of the Services and Products provided by PENTA on the MyDiamo Website (hereunder “Website”)

The term “personal information” means the information pertaining to an individual alive, which contains information identifying a specific person with a name, a national identification number, or similar in a form of code, letter, voice, sound, image, or any other form (including information that does not, by itself, make it possible to identify a specific person but that enables to identify such person easily if combined with another information).

For keeping your personal information safe, PENTA SECURITY SYSTEMS INC. (hereunder “PENTA”) will use your personal information only for the purpose of providing a better product within the scope of “ACT ON PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUCTION, ETC” (hereunder “the Act”)

Purpose of collection and use of personal information

PENTA will collect your personal information as necessary to provide the Services in a seamless manner and to improve your user experience. Furthermore, your personal information may also be used to give any individual notifications, deal with any inquiries or disputes arising in connection with your use of the Services and payment. From time to time, we may use your personal information to send important notices, such as communications about services and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. The provided e-mail, for example, will be entered into an automated file under the responsibility of PENTA in order to make a subscription and to be able to send you our Newsletter. We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve PENTA’s services, and customer communications.

When you subscribe for the Products or in the course of your use of the Products, PENTA will collect your email address and subscription information through the MyDiamo Website or individual services by you filling-in the subscription form online. Also, PENTA may collect your credit card information required for payment processing when you subscribe paid services.

PENTA will use your personal information only for the purposes set forth above and will not disclose to or share your personal information with any third party.

 

The period of time during which the personal information is possessed and used, and the procedure and method for destruction of the personal information

After fulfilling the purpose of collection and use of your personal information to which you have consented, your personal information will be placed in a separate database (or a filing cabinet in case of paper records) and possessed for a certain period of time stipulated under the applicable laws and regulations before being destructed. Paper records will be either shredded or incinerated, and electronic records will be destructed in an irreversible manner using technical methods. However, records pertaining to improper use of the Services will be possessed for a period of one year before being destructed in the manners as set forth above in accordance with PENTA’s internal policies to prevent any disputes arising from improper use of the Products.

 

Details of business affairs subject to the entrusted handling of personal information and the trustee

PENTA may delegate the handling of your personal information to third parties (“Service Providers”) when it is necessary to ensure seamless Services. BUT, PENTA will not disclose to or share your personal information with any third party at this moment.

Rights of users and their legal representatives and methods for the exercise of such rights

You (or your legal guardian if you are under 14 years of age) may request to withdraw your consent to PENTA’s collection and use of your personal information or to unsubscribe from the Services. You are also free to contact our personal information manager in writing, by phone or by email through our Contact information below for immediate action. Once you request to have your personal information corrected, we will not use or provide your personal information until it is corrected as requested.

Please bear in mind that you will not be able to access some of the Services requiring a login process if you disable cookies.

 

Notification of changes to the Privacy Policy

PENTA may amend this Privacy Policy to, reflect changes to the applicable law. We will post a notice about any Privacy Policy changes and the updated Privacy Policy will become effective seven (7) days from the day on which the notice is posted. However, if changes to our Privacy Policy materially affect your rights due to unavoidable reasons, we will give you a thirty (30) day prior notice.

Effective Date
